Telecommunications
Companies, Services, Equipment,
Technology, Business
Telecommunication is the technique
of transmitting a message, from one point or place to another with
the typical additional attribute of being bi-directional. In
practice it also recognizes that something may be lost in the
process; hence the term 'telecommunication' covers all forms of
distance communications, including radio, telegraphy, television,
telephony, data communication and computer networking.
Physics
Physics (from Greek from φυσικός (phusikos):
natural, from φύσις (fysis): Nature) is the science of Nature in the
broadest sense.
Physicists study the behaviour and
interactions of matter and radiation. Theories of physics are
generally expressed as mathematical relations. Well-established
theories are often referred to as physical laws or laws of physics;
however, like all scientific theories, they are ultimately
provisional.

Spectroscopic Ellipsometry
The ellipsometry is an optical
technique devoted to the analysis of surfaces. It is based on the
measurement of the variation of the polarization state of the light
after reflection on a plane surface.
The ellipsometry technique has
been discovered one hundred years ago but it is only fifteen years
ago, thanks to the development of electronic and computers that the
technique expand largely in numerous fields.
PIC16C84
The PIC microcontroller, by
Microchip, has become widely used in many of today's projects. Its
low cost, small size, ease of use and powerful RISC instruction set
make it suitable for both small projects, and complex
microcontroller applications.
It has been featured in many of
the articles and projects in several magazines. It is an especially
exciting device to the hobbyist as it can drastically simplify most
complex projects.
The PIC microcontroller that meets the needs of the casual
experimenter and the beginner is the PIC16C84. The main feature of
the 'C84 that lends itself to experimentation is its EEPROM memory
that is electrically erasable and reprogrammable.
