Teleworking
and Teletrade in India: A research project from the United Nations
University's Institute for New Technologies (UNU INTECH). The investigation is
focused on the existing prevalence of and future potential for (1) telecommuting
in the Greater Bombay area, for (2) teletrade in software in Bombay, Bangalore
and Calcutta and in the media and financial services sectors in Bombay, and on
(3) the implications of these developments for women and other disadvantaged

International Flexwork Forum (IFF): A
private network of individuals dedicated to the promotion of telework and other
flexible work options in Japan. The mission is to raise public sector interest
in telework as a policy issue, and to help regional efforts to establish
telecottages and other telework projects outside the Greater Tokyo Area. A major
activity is the publication of a quarterly newsletter covering domestic and
international trends. The site includes a status report on Telework
in Japan. English and Japanese versions.

Tebela - Telematics Bridge between Europe
and Latin America: The TEBELA Project is grant-funded by the European
Commission under the
INCO-DCprogramme
(INternational COoperation in Developing Countries). It aims to support the
exchange of experience and expertise by assisting the development of networks
and links between Europe and Latin America in connection with teleworking,
electronic commerce, sustainable development and the Information Society
generally. These networks and links will support technicians, business
development authorities and teleworkers, providing a common forum involving
government, employers, SMEs and individuals.
