aim of the museum is to provide a comprehensive view on Romanian art from the
early Middle Ages to the present, in as broad an European context as possible.

The
Museum Of The Romanian Peasant - The museum is a part of the
cultural complex surrounding Piata Victoriei, in Bucharest. Its building follows
the neo-Romanian style and was enlarged after 1960, as a result of its
complicated history . In the reserves, the museum keeps very rich and beautiful
collections . A small part of them is displayed following new rules of
Ethnomuseology and a certain particularity of involving the public in the museum
work itself.
